Product Description:
The 175H7267 variable-speed drive is supplied by Danfoss within the VLT 3000 Variable Speed Drives series. Designed for induction motor regulation, the unit converts a constant three-phase mains supply into a variable-frequency output so production equipment can accelerate, decelerate, or maintain setpoints under closed-loop control. It supports constant-torque and variable-torque duty profiles, allowing conveyor, pump, or fan behavior to respond to real-time process demands. Onboard motor protection helps protect connected equipment from operating conditions that could otherwise cause damage or unplanned shutdowns.
The drive accepts a three-phase input of 3 × 380/400/415 V AC at 50/60 Hz, and line fluctuations of ±10% are tolerated without derating. Its nominal motor rating is 4.0 kW, while the continuous constant-torque output current reaches 10.0 A. An upstream 25 A fuse provides coordinated short-circuit protection for the incoming power circuit. Internally, 195 W of power loss is dissipated as heat during constant-torque duty, resulting in an overall efficiency of 96%. The drive permits two power-ups per minute according to its switch-on rate, which should be considered when external controls cycle the incoming supply.
Protection is provided by an IP54 enclosure, enabling wall or panel mounting in areas exposed to noncorrosive dust or splashing liquids. In variable-torque applications, the inverter can supply a peak line current of 13.0 A. Unshielded motor leads up to 300 m are supported, while shielded leads may be up to 150 m long. Each motor conductor may have a cross-sectional area of up to 2.5 mm², allowing cable selection to account for the installation length and expected current. The integral brake option engages automatically when commanded, helping arrest the connected load without external relays. The drive has a total mass of 14.0 kg, allowing it to be supported by suitable wall or panel mounting hardware.
