As a variable-frequency inverter, it converts fixed mains power into a modulated output that allows closed-loop speed control of three-phase induction motors. In automated plants, the unit is installed inside motor control centers to adjust pump, fan, and conveyor speeds, improving energy use and reducing mechanical stress during acceleration and braking.
During continuous duty, the inverter draws a line-side input current of 10.0 A and supplies the motor terminals with a continuous output current of 10.0 A. At this load, the apparent output power reaches 7.2 kVA, corresponding to a rated mechanical output of 4.0 kW when connected to a standard-efficiency motor. Overall conversion efficiency is 0.96, with 195 W of heat released under nominal conditions. The IP54 metal housing protects internal boards against dust and water splashes, permitting installation in general-purpose production areas.
