Product Description:
The 175H7265 is an AC variable frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss for the VLT 3000 Variable Speed Drives series. The product converts fixed-frequency three-phase power into a controllable output that regulates induction motor speed, torque, and direction in material-handling, pumping, and ventilation systems. An included brake option directs regenerated energy through an internal chopper, allowing rapid deceleration without a separate braking unit. By adjusting output frequency and voltage, the drive lowers mechanical stress, supports energy-saving duty cycles, and maintains precise process control in industrial automation.
The input section accepts a three-phase supply of 3 × 380/400/415 V ±10%, allowing direct connection to standard industrial power networks. The inverter has a nominal output rating of 4.0 kW, making it suitable for medium-frame IEC motors. In constant-torque service, the unit delivers 10.0 A and produces 7.2 kVA at the output terminals, providing stable shaft power across the 0–50 Hz speed range. Its short-term overload capability reaches 16.0 A for 60 seconds, accommodating startup surges or heavy process peaks. A conversion efficiency of 0.96 helps reduce heat generation and cabinet cooling requirements. Upstream protection can be provided by a 25 A fuse that limits fault current.
The open-frame housing has an IP00 rating, so the drive must be mounted inside an enclosure that provides suitable protection against contact and contaminants. When configured for variable-torque loads, it can supply 13.0 A and up to 9.3 kVA, making it suitable for fans or centrifugal pumps that require greater current as speed rises. The maximum motor cable length is 300 m, or 150 m when shielded cable is used. Line and motor conductors can have a cross-sectional area of up to 2.5 mm². The unit withstands vibration of 0.7 g, and operation is limited to two motor starts per minute to protect the drive and braking components.
