Product Description:
The 175H7264 is an AC variable-speed drive manufactured by Danfoss for the VLT 3000 Variable Speed Drives series. It converts fixed-frequency three-phase power into a modulated output that allows automation systems to control induction motor speed and torque directly through the drive software. Installed between the line supply and the motor, it supports conveyor, pump, and fan applications that require precise acceleration profiles and efficient energy use. Its open-chassis construction is suitable for installation inside ventilated control panels, while its 12 kg mass permits rigid mounting without additional structural support.
On the input side, the unit accepts a three-phase supply of 3 × 380/400/415 V AC ±10% at 50 or 60 Hz. The inverter section is rated for 4.0 kW of continuous mechanical power and can deliver a constant-torque output current of 10.0 A. During short-term overloads, the current can rise to 16.0 A within the constant-torque duty cycle, enabling quick starts and accommodating temporary load spikes without activating protection. The synthesizer provides two selectable frequency ranges of 0–120 Hz or 0–500 Hz, allowing standard-speed and high-speed operation from the same drive. Output voltage is programmable from 0–100% of the line voltage, allowing the motor to maintain suitable air-gap flux across its operating speed range while reducing core losses.
The open-frame enclosure has an IP00 rating, so the drive must be installed in a cabinet that prevents accidental contact and provides forced airflow. The control and power terminals accept copper conductors up to 2.5 mm², and the drive supports shielded motor cables up to 300 m long without exceeding the permitted capacitive load. A 25 A gL/gG upstream fuse protects the supply wiring from excessive current. Overall conversion efficiency reaches 0.96 under nominal load, reducing electrical losses during continuous operation. The output supports rated motor frequencies of 50, 60, 87, or 100 Hz, accommodating standard motors and motors intended for inverter operation.
