Product Description:
The 175H4141 is a variable frequency drive produced by Danfoss within the VLT 3000 Variable Speed Drives series. Designed for three-phase induction motors in automated lines, the unit modulates output frequency and voltage so that conveyors, pumps, or fans can maintain precise speed profiles while reducing energy consumption. It forms the interface between the mains supply and the motor, allowing PLCs to apply ramps, limits, and feedback-based corrections in process equipment.
During continuous operation, the drive delivers a rated shaft power of 2.2 kW while drawing an input current of 13.3 A from the supply. For applications that require constant torque at any speed, the inverter can supply 10.5 A of motor current, corresponding to 4.2 kVA at the output terminals. Short-term overloads are supported for up to 60 seconds, during which the current rises to 17.0 A and the apparent power reaches 6.7 kVA, permitting the acceleration of high-inertia loads without tripping. The control electronics accept analog commands through an input impedance of 10 kΩ and PLC contact signals through a digital input impedance of 2 kΩ energized by a 24 V DC sensor supply. A 25 A upstream fuse protects the supply conductors in accordance with the drive’s short-circuit withstand rating.
The drive is housed in an IP54 enclosure that protects against dust and water splashes, allowing installation on the machine frame without an additional cabinet. Audible emission is limited to 57 dBA, supporting installation near operator stations. Power terminals accept conductors up to 2.5 mm², and motor leads may extend to 300 m, accommodating remote motors while keeping voltage drop within allowable limits. For simple status signaling, the integrated relay can switch 2 A at up to 250 VAC, enabling interlocks or run indications in external circuits without additional interface modules.
