The 175H4139 belongs to the VLT 3000 Variable Speed Drives series produced by Danfoss. As an AC variable frequency drive, it modulates three-phase mains power to regulate induction motor speed in pumps, conveyors, and similar automation systems. Its open-chassis IP00 enclosure is intended for installation inside a protected panel. A built-in DC braking circuit uses a 21 V level to bring the motor to a controlled stop when required.
During continuous operation, the inverter can deliver 4.2 kVA of apparent power, a value that combines real and reactive components for sizing upstream transformers and cabling. Line current reaches 13.3 A, so feeders and contactors must be rated accordingly for steady-state service. At the output terminals, the drive can supply up to 230 V RMS for 230 V class motors. The permissible load current is 10.5 A, which establishes the thermal limit of the power stage under the rated ambient conditions. The control section permits an unshielded motor cable up to 300 m long, supporting distant installations without supplementary filters. Its terminals accept cable cross-sections up to 2.5 mm², accommodating common industrial conductors.
For short acceleration periods, the drive tolerates 17.0 A for 60 seconds, allowing machines to start under high inertia before returning to the rated load. The rated motor output is 2.2 kW for compatible industrial motors used in HVAC and material-handling systems. Protective coordination with upstream devices requires a prefuse no larger than 25 A to clear faults without overstressing the power electronics. Internal power dissipation is limited to 130 W, which assists with enclosure ventilation planning. The unit withstands vibration up to 0.7 g under applicable IEC test profiles.
