The 175H1729 is an AC variable frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss within the VLT 3000 Variable Speed Drives series. Installed between the mains supply and a three-phase motor, it converts fixed-frequency input power into a pulse-width-modulated output that allows automation controllers to adjust motor speed. The drive supports efficient flow, pressure, and material-handling applications in which precise electrical control replaces mechanical throttling.
Supplied from a three-phase line rated at 3 x 440/460/500 V with a ±10% tolerance, the inverter provides a motor output of 1.1 kW to the connected machine. The drive produces an apparent output power of 2.3 kVA, supporting the electrical load presented by the motor during normal operation. Its energy conversion efficiency is 0.96, so most of the incoming electrical energy is delivered to the connected load. The unit dissipates 60 W under constant-torque duty, which limits the amount of heat that must be removed from the control cabinet. These electrical values allow appropriate selection of upstream protection devices, supply conductors, and cabinet ventilation.
