The 175H1682 drive belongs to the series of Danfoss VLT 3000 which is designed for dependable drive control. It is rated at 30.0 kW and comes with an IP20 enclosure. This design features an RFI filter and an integrated brake option to ensure safe operation.

The Danfoss 175H1682 accepts a variety of electrical inputs. It uses three-phase 380/400/415 V or 440/460/500 V supply at both 50 and 60 Hz. The drive provides 61 A of constant torque current at 415 V and 65 A at 500 V. Overload capacity is 97.6 A for 60 seconds. Operating temperatures range from −10 °C to +45 °C in variable torque and up to +40 °C in constant torque mode. Under variable torque, the unit delivers 73 A at 415 V and 78 A at 500 V, with a shaft power of 37 to 45 kW. The rated shaft output in constant torque mode is 30 kW. The output frequency is configurable up to 500 Hz. Full load efficiency reaches 96% while maintaining a power factor of 0.9 to 1.0. The drive has electronic thermal motor protection, thermistor input conformity with DIN 44081, and integrated inverter overload protection. It has galvanic isolation that meets PELV and VDE 0160 standards. Grounding is required when earth leakage currents exceed 3 mA. Unlimited output switching is supported, however frequent switching may result in fault signals. Storage and transport conditions extend from −25 °C to +70 °C. The drive can endure up to 95% relative humidity in non-condensing situations and up to 0.7 g of vibration.

The 175H1682 is engineered for durable service in demanding conditions. Forced cooling is required when the brake and RFI option is enabled. Danfoss Voltage Vector Control provides ±0.5% slip correction. System integration supports integrated RS-485 connectivity and PID regulation. Built-in motor coils allow for longer motor cords. A DC connection coil and galvanic isolation are provided.
