The 175H1250 is a VLT 3032 variable speed drive from Danfoss that is engineered for motor control in industrial machines. It provides a continuous output current of 44 A and can handle 70.4 A intermittently for a 60-second period. The drive’s continuous output power is rated as 31.6 kVA and 50.6 kVA as peak output for a bearable time of 60 seconds.
The 175H1250 drive features programmable output frequencies of 0 - 120 Hz or 0 - 500 Hz and it delivers 0 - 100% of the AC line voltage as output voltage, which can be adjusted depending on operational requirements. This drive is designed to work with an input voltage range of 380 V to 460 V and at full load it maintains an efficiency of 96% to reduce energy consumption. Electronic thermal protection and a thermistor for overtemperature detection is included that comply with DIN44081 standards for motor protection. The 175H12 drive’s IP21/IP54-rated enclosures provides solid protection from dust and moisture ingress to ensure longevity in harsh environments. Its power loss in CT mode is calculated as 154 W, while in VT mode, it is 130 W that reflects its energy-efficient design. This unit can withstand a vibration level of 0.7g and it weighs 139 lbs.
The 175H1250 drive supports a maximum motor cable length of 1000 feet for unshielded cables. Its input current for constant load (CT) is rated as 41.9 A and for quadratic load (VT), it is 57.5 A. The 175H12 drive provide 5 times/min switching at the input, while offers unlimited switching at the output and it uses 80 A of pre-fuse for protection. It complies with EMC standards including EN 50081-1, VDE 0875, VDE 0871 and IEC 801-2 for electromagnetic compatibility and immunity.
