The 175H1236 drive is an AC variable-frequency unit manufactured by Danfoss within the VLT 3000 Variable Speed Drives series. It converts fixed mains power to a controlled three-phase output so that induction or permanent-magnet motors can be regulated in industrial automation, ventilation, and pumping systems. By adjusting output frequency and voltage, the device allows process planners to match motor speed to load demand, reduce energy use, and improve mechanical lifespan.
The control terminal accepts a cycle-by-cycle input current up to 30.7 A in constant-torque mode and up to 41.5 A in variable-torque mode; upstream circuit breakers must accommodate those peaks. When driven at its maximum carrier setting the inverter produces up to 500 Hz, allowing high-speed spindles or servo-duty motors to run above base speed. In constant-torque service the output apparent power reaches 23.0 kVA, while variable-torque applications can draw a continuous 44 A without derating.
