The Danfoss 175H1155 is a variable speed drive frm VLT 3000 series, which is designed to provide well-defined control of motors in industrial and HVAC industries.

Having a 4 kW output power rating, it is quite suitable in small to medium-sized motor systems with stable and controllable speed requirements. The drive is fed from a three-phase supply voltage of 380, 400, or 415 V with a tolerance of ±10%. It is suitable for 50 Hz and 60 Hz frequencies, and so can be used for standard industrial mains. It allows a nominal motor voltage of 380-415 V and an output voltage of 0-100% of the mains, allowing operators full control of motor operation. The 175H1155 has a programmable range of output frequencies from 0-120 Hz. The frequency range is extended up to 500 Hz, and therefore is suitable for both standard and high-frequency motor applications. Present ratings are maximum input current 10 A in constant torque (CT) mode and 13 A in variable torque (VT). Protection features include built-in short-circuit protection and earth fault protection, providing safety and reliable operation during faults.

The drive has full-rated motor voltage and near-perfect sinusoidal current, due to Voltage Vector Control (VVC). This enables the motor to act like it is directly connected to the mains, but retains the ability to control the motor at variable speeds. Frequency stability is also very high, 0.01% at 0.5-120 Hz open-loop, and so the performance is consistent. To support a range of installation scenarios, the drive is offered in IP21 or IP54 enclosures. In VT mode, it operates in ambient temperatures between -10 and +45 °C, and in CT mode, between -10 and +40 °C. The IP21 version is compact and manageable, weighing 13 kg and measuring 500 x 281 x 178 mm.
