Product Description:
The 175H1065 is a variable frequency drive from Danfoss and is part of the VLT 3000 Variable Speed Drives series. The unit converts fixed mains power into a regulated three-phase output suitable for AC induction motors, allowing speed and torque adjustment in conveyors, pumps, and similar automated equipment. Its compact dimensions and panel-mounted design make the drive easy to integrate into control cabinets used for process lines and HVAC systems. By modulating voltage and frequency simultaneously, it maintains motor efficiency across the operating speed range.
Electrical ratings include a nominal input of 230 V three-phase, so the drive connects directly to low-voltage industrial mains without an autotransformer. Full-load efficiency reaches 0.96, limiting waste heat and reducing enclosure ventilation demand. During constant-torque service, the input section can draw up to 13.3 A; upstream protection therefore relies on a line fuse rated at 25 A. The inverter section delivers frequencies up to 500 Hz, supporting high-speed spindle or blower motors beyond the typical 60 Hz utility limit. Relative humidity may be as high as 95% without condensation. The unit operates at ambient temperatures up to 40 °C under rated load and withstands vibration levels of 0.7 g, supporting use on machinery frames subject to continuous motion.
For acceleration and deceleration profiles, the drive allows ramp times as long as 3600 s, which is useful when delicate products or large inertial loads require gradual speed changes. The minimum operating temperature is -10 °C, so cold-room startups do not require auxiliary heaters. Continuous motor output is supported at 5.6 A, with a short-term overload capacity of 9.0 A for 60 seconds when additional torque is required. At maximum load, the converter dissipates 130 W, which must be considered when determining cabinet airflow. Installation can use up to 1,000 feet of unshielded motor cable. The permitted storage temperature ranges from -25 °C to 65 °C without performance degradation.
