Product Description:
The 175H1007 is an AC motor controller produced by Danfoss as part of the VLT 3000 Variable Speed Drives series. Intended for panel-mounted automation, the unit converts fixed-frequency, three-phase mains power into a regulated output that allows control systems to adjust induction motor speed. This variable-speed operation can reduce energy consumption in pumps, fans, conveyors, and other material-handling equipment when full motor output is not continuously required. The drive follows the layout used throughout the product line, so its wiring terminals, keypad position, and programming workflow are consistent with other power sizes in the same range.
Input compatibility includes three-phase supplies at 200/220/230, 380/400/415, or 440/460/500 V, allowing the drive to operate with low- or high-voltage networks. The control electronics support industrial line frequencies of 50/60 Hz, so jumper changes are not required when the unit is used with either supported frequency. Its IP21 enclosure protects live parts against solid objects larger than 12 mm and vertically dripping water. This level of protection is suitable for installation inside clean electrical cabinets where the drive is not directly exposed to heavy dust, spray, or washdown conditions. An overall depth of 178 mm helps the drive fit inside shallow cabinets. Available motor power ratings are 1.1, 1.5, 2.2, 4.0, and 5.5 kW, covering small pump, fan, and conveyor applications.
Heat is removed through fanless cooling, eliminating a moving component and reducing routine maintenance requirements in locations with moderate ambient temperatures. Adequate cabinet ventilation is still necessary so heat can move away from the enclosure during sustained operation. The permitted minimum side clearance is 0 mm, allowing multiple drives to be mounted side by side without unused gaps between their housings. This arrangement makes efficient use of horizontal cabinet space in installations that contain several controlled motor axes. The housing measures 281 mm across the front, keeping it within a 300 mm cabinet column while providing space for organized routing of mains and motor conductors. Its front-mounted keypad gives operators direct access to the parameter menus and operating controls without requiring additional external controls for basic adjustments.
