The VACON0020-3L-0023-4-R02+EMC2 is an AC variable-frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss within the VACON 20 Low Voltage Drives series. It controls three-phase motors in conveyor, pump, and fan applications by converting constant-frequency mains power into a modulated output with frequency and voltage that can be adjusted on demand. Its compact dimensions and panel-mounted design allow the drive to fit easily into distributed control panels throughout automated installations.
The drive supports a motor rating of 11 kW and delivers a continuous phase current of 23 A to the motor terminals. It draws a nominal line current of 25.5 A, so upstream protection devices must be sized accordingly. The power stage has a preset switching frequency of 4 kHz, balancing acoustic noise with semiconductor losses. The IP21 enclosure protects internal boards from solid objects larger than 12 mm and limited exposure to dripping water.
