The VACON0020-3L-0004-4 is a low-voltage AC drive built by Danfoss and positioned within the VACON 20 Low Voltage Drives series. As a compact V/Hz or sensorless vector inverter, it modulates three-phase supply power to regulate induction motor speed in conveyors, pumps, and general factory automation. The MI2 frame keeps wiring distances short and allows the unit to fit into narrow control enclosures, while the drive provides precise speed and torque control without mechanical throttling.
The drive supplies up to 1.1 kW of shaft power to a connected motor when ambient temperature and cooling conditions remain within rated limits. Continuous motor current is limited to 3.3 A, while the input draws a nominal 4 A from the three-phase power supply. During a 60-second overload event, the drive can deliver 5 A before its protective limits intervene. Dynamic braking energy is dissipated through the integrated chopper and an external resistor with a minimum resistance of 118 Ω.
