The VACON0100-3L-0041-6-R02+SEBJ+DBIN is an AC variable frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss and supplied as part of the VACON 100 Industrial Drives series. The unit converts a constant-frequency, three-phase mains supply into a regulated output so that induction or synchronous motors can be started smoothly, accelerated, and held at precise speeds. In automated process lines, the drive matches motor torque to load demand, improving energy use and reducing mechanical stress.
The input section is rated for 525–600 VAC at 50–60 Hz and provides six digital input channels, two analog input channels, and one analog output for external setpoints or feedback signals. Under continuous operation, the drive delivers 41 A to the motor when sized for the higher Il duty class, while the Ih duty class is limited to 34 A. A two-second overload capacity supports up to 68 A, allowing the inverter to handle acceleration peaks without tripping. The modulator provides a selectable output frequency range of 0–320 Hz, and the output voltage follows the programmed V/Hz curve from zero to the incoming line level. With these ratings, the drive can operate motors up to 40 HP at 600 V on constant-torque loads.
The permissible operating temperature ranges from -10 to 50 °C, allowing the drive to operate in most production areas without derating. The housing carries an IP21 / UL Type 1 rating, providing basic protection against accidental contact and vertically falling water droplets when the unit is mounted in a suitable control area. A displacement power factor greater than 0.98 limits the reactive current drawn from the facility supply. The drive also supports STO, SS1, and ATEX safety functions for use in risk-classified machinery. When configured for the Ih duty class, the inverter is suitable for motors rated at 30 HP at 600 V, providing another power option without requiring a different frame size.
