The VACON0100-3L-0024-2-X-R02 is an AC drive manufactured by Danfoss for the VACON 100 Industrial Drives series. Designed to adjust induction motor speed in automated machinery, the device converts fixed mains power into a controlled output waveform so pumps, conveyors, and process equipment can run at the torque and speed demanded by the application. Its factory-loaded control software supports PID loops and energy-saving algorithms frequently required in plant utilities. The compact footprint simplifies retrofits where cabinet depth is limited, and the local keypad provides direct access to programming controls.
For installation on three-phase AC supplies, the unit draws a continuous line current of 24.2 A and can deliver up to 7.5 HP of mechanical output on 230 V motors, equivalent to 5.5 kW. Two analog input channels and one analog output handle proportional process signals, while two auxiliary 24 V relay outputs support external interlocks. Field wiring enters an MM5 enclosure with an IP66/Type 4X rating, allowing outdoor or washdown mounting without an additional cabinet. Network integration is supported by an embedded port for Modbus TCP/IP, BACnet IP, PROFINET, and EtherNet/IP. The drive has six digital inputs that permit start, stop, and speed-selection functions to be wired directly to the unit. These inputs allow simple machines to perform basic sequencing without an external PLC. Control integrity is maintained at elevations up to 4000 m above sea level without output derating, supporting installations in elevated facilities.
