The VACON0100-3L-0018-6-R02 variable frequency drive belongs to the VACON 100 Industrial Drives series manufactured by Danfoss. In industrial automation, this three-phase AC inverter converts a fixed 600 V supply into a pulse-width-modulated output that allows control systems to adjust motor speed and torque. By matching motor output to the actual load on pumps, fans, and conveyors, the drive improves energy efficiency and process regulation, while its terminal strip allows direct connection to PLC I/O and local operator panels.
This drive provides two analog input channels, one analog output for feedback, six digital inputs that accept 24 V logic, and two 24 V transistor outputs for status. When the application permits lighter duty, the low-overload setting raises the continuous current to 18 A and the power capability to 15 HP at 600 V. A built-in reference of 10 V supplies potentiometers or sensors that require an isolated excitation source.
