The Danfoss 135N3836 is an industrial drive from the VACON 100 Industrial Drives family that can work with a wide variety of input voltages, from 208 V to 690 V. It works well in temperatures from -10 °C to 50 °C, which makes it good for a lot of different industrial uses across the world. This drive has built-in Ethernet connection, so it works well with current automation and control systems. It also works with both induction and permanent magnet (PM) motors, making it more flexible for use with diverse kinds of motor-driven equipment. The 135N3836 has a multi-line display on its user interface that makes it easy to keep an eye on and control things.

The status line shows real-time status messages with icons and images, while lines 1 and 2 provide operational data that the operator has chosen or set. Pressing [Status] will add another data line, and operators will always be able to see precise text status messages to keep them up to date. The 135N3836 follows international standards, notably IEC60364-5-52, for choosing cables and sizing them. It needs PVC-insulated cables with a copper shield that is concentric. The cables users choose must work with the installation requirements and local laws.

The highest temperature that cables can be in is 30 °C, while the highest temperature that the cable surface can be is 70 °C.
