The 131X6124 frequency converter is one of the many state-of-the-art industrial motor controllers built by Danfoss Automation. As the first mass producer of drivers, Danfoss has many years of experience in producing controllers that will meet your flow control and monitoring needs perfectly. The housing of this product is protected by a metallic IP20 housing; this housing can easily withstand large foreign solids and can be easily mounted side-by-side with other controllers inside a control cabinet. The 131X6124 is an air-cooled device that requires an ambient temperature that does not exceed 45 degrees Celsius during operation. The operation of the 131X6124 prevents violent starts on the product; it does this by detecting the speed and direction of a freely rotating fan and synchronizing it at a matching speed. This also reduces the rate at which wear and tear occur on the equipment.

The 131X6124 frequency converter is able to go into sleep mode to prevent the unnecessary consumption of energy. In sleep mode, the drive detects the absence of flow and stops the motor. When the load is resumed, the motor is restarted. The sleep mode of this converter also reduces the rate of power interruption in the automation system. Breakage in belt connections is also automatically detected by this product and reported to operators.

The 131X6124 frequency converter requires a constant voltage supply of 380 to 480 volts through its three-phase mains supply interface; it also has a rated power capacity of 30 kilowatts. There is no Brake chopper or local control panel on this product; however, it features a Radio Frequency Interference (RFI) Filter. The converter should always be installed indoors in a vertical position for easy operation.
