The SSIV-21 represents Danaher’s latest offering in the Timers and Controllers series featuring 6 decades of counting which provides consistent enhanced resolution for comprehensive industrial event monitoring. The display comprises 12.7 mm, red LEDs which ensure optimal visibility under various lighting conditions. A maximum count speed of 1500 cpm (25 Hz) accommodates continuous moderate-rate processes to guarantee no pulse omissions.
Count impulse voltage compatibility of 105–120 VAC or 210–250 VAC allows connection to circuits and removes transformer requirements. Its minimum impulse on/off time of 0.02 s accepts rapid signals that preserves count precision. This feature of manual reset by pushbutton resets to zero allows speeds batch transitions. While a remote reset using switch/contact closure or open-collector NPN enables actuation which integrates with automation. Remote reset duration of 100 ms ensures activation reliability which prevents noise triggers. The device’s power consumption of 1.5 W reduces heat generation.
