This curtain’s maximum input current is 1 A at 115 VAC to ensure efficient operation. The 30 W power consumption of this light curtain ensures continuous operation without overloading the power supply. The life of its electrical relay is specified for a minimum of 100,000 cycles at full power to provide reliable operation in repetitive safety tasks. The optical detection configuration of this curtain has a beam spacing of 0.5 inches (12.7 mm) center-to-center to provide close detection coverage for better safety. The SS950-4000-R curtain can detect the minimum object size of 1 inch (25.4 mm), so that it can respond to minor obstructions. This curtain’s 30-foot (9.14-meter) maximum operating range ensures that it can cover large access points and large machine guarding zones. Its operating temperature levels range from 32 °F to 122 °F (0 °C to 50 °C) to enable effective operation in cold and warm industrial areas.
The SS950-4000-R curtain has ambient light immunity of 10,000 Lux at a 5° incidence, which avoids false triggering in bright environments or in direct exposure to industrial lighting.
