The Danaher’s SS950-20000 Safety Light Curtain uses infrared LED emitter elements that emit an 880 nm peak wavelength for constant detection precision. In DC applications, this light curtain unit takes 24 volts at ±4 volt tolerance to allow mounting flexibility in low-voltage safety control systems.

Covering a broad input voltage range from 85 to 250 VAC, this curtain supports varied facility power standards without the need for additional electrical conversion hardware. Its protected height of 20 inches provides an optimized vertical detection range for the protection of access points on machinery and automated devices. Measuring a total height of 25.20 inches (639.6 mm) with brackets, the SS950-20000 curtain provides compatibility with standard mounting configurations for a variety of machine types. Its maximum input current at 230 VAC is limited to 0.6 amperes, to ensure efficient operation with minimal loading on facility electrical circuits.
