Product Description:
The MTJR1S00 is a panel-mounted electronic counter and timer produced by Danaher in the Timers and Controllers series. Designed for industrial automation, the unit tallies incoming pulses or measures elapsed intervals so a PLC or relay logic system can act at the programmed count or time value. Because it accepts multiple sensor formats and provides dedicated alarm outputs, the device fits conveyor, batching, and test stand applications that need independent timing or totalizing functions without dedicating a full controller slot.
Primary operating power is supplied at 115/230 VAC on 50 or 60 Hz lines, and overall consumption is capped at 6 VA, limiting the thermal load inside the cabinet. An auxiliary supply rated at 12 VDC ±25% with a maximum output of 125 mA can energize proximity detectors or photoelectric sensors directly from the front-end electronics. A 5-digit, 0.56-inch LED display provides clear, high-contrast numeric indication in dim industrial areas. All components are sealed behind a NEMA 4 bezel that blocks dust and hose-directed water, allowing installation on washdown lines. The front display allows operators to monitor the current count or elapsed time without opening the enclosure.
Signal flexibility is provided by magnetic pickup, open-collector, TTL, CMOS, and line-driver inputs, all accepted at frequencies up to 10 kHz, so high-speed encoders can be tracked without missed counts. Two independent alarms, consisting of one high alarm and one low alarm, drive an open-collector sink for external relays or buzzers when the process crosses either limit. Mechanical integration requires a panel opening of 1.78 x 3.56 inches. Once inserted, the assembly extends 5.68 inches behind the bezel, leaving space for wiring bends and airflow. With a bezel width of 3.78 inches and a height of 1.98 inches, the module aligns with standard 1/8-DIN footprints and locks in place using the supplied rear mounting clips. Its panel-mounted format keeps the display and controls accessible while the wiring connections remain protected inside the cabinet.
