The Danaher developed the MSJR4U10 Digital speed controller for applications that demand precision rotational or linear speed monitoring and control. The controller is an electronic rate meter and tachometer. The controller has a 1/8 DIN size of 48x96 mm. It can operate with both 120 VAC and 240 VAC supply power.
The MSJR4U10 digital speed controller can run at 50 Hz or 60 Hz frequency. It accommodates a variety of input types, including NPN and PNP sensors, switch or contact closures, and incremental encoder-quadrature. The display is a five-digit LED. The programming is done using a keypad, dipswitch, and jumper. The controller provides speed, ratio, process time, and jog setpoints. The controller supports proportional, integral, and derivative loop control, as well as velocity feedforward. The controller guarantees zero cumulative error in follower mode. Alarm outputs are offered at both high and low speeds. The controller includes an independent analog output for drive control.
