Product Description:
The MSJR1S00 is a digital timer-controller produced by Danaher for its Timers and Controllers series. Installed in motor speed loops or flow totalizers, it measures incoming pulses, calculates rate or count, and sends an analog command to downstream drives or actuators. By combining pulse feedback processing with a built-in voltage output stage, the unit provides closed-loop regulation for industrial automation lines.
The control electronics accept a nominal supply of 115/230 VAC at 50/60 Hz, and overall power consumption does not exceed 6 VA, keeping heat dissipation low inside crowded panels. A separate accessory rail supplies up to 90 mA at 12 VDC for proximity sensors or encoders. The isolated analog stage delivers a full-scale signal of 10 VDC with an error of no more than 1% of full scale. Pulse inputs are filtered and accumulated at rates up to 12.8 kHz, allowing precise count or speed capture from high-resolution tachometer wheels. Internally, the microcontroller applies scaling factors so that speed regulation remains within 0.05% of full scale under steady operating conditions.
Mechanical integration follows DIN panel standards; the required cutout height is 1.78 inches, and only 5.68 inches of the controller extends behind the bezel, allowing installation without disrupting nearby wiring ducts. Status information appears on a five-digit LED display with 0.56-inch characters, providing a clear view of measured values and operating conditions. The analog output can safely drive a minimum load of 2 kΩ, which supports connection to compatible drives and control equipment. The controller operates at ambient temperatures up to 50 °C, making it suitable for installation in enclosed industrial control panels with appropriate ventilation. The enclosure weighs 1.4 pounds and mounts without additional support brackets, reducing the amount of hardware needed around the panel opening.
