The Danaher made the HZ172A605 Cycl-Flex Count Control, which is a mechanical counting machine with a count range that can be programmed from 2 to 100. The control is made to be mounted on a panel and has a clutch device that reacts to electrical signals. The count control includes a chrome-plated bezel for mounting on the outside and protection to corrosion.
The HZ172A605 Cycl-Flex Count Control is compatible with 120 VAC ±10% at 50 or 60 Hz. On the final power stroke, the clutch moves into the count-out position. Contact behavior changes between stages. Terminals 6-7 are closed when the tally begins, but they reopen when it ends. Terminals 6 through 8 stay closed during the cycle. Contacts A-C remain open, and the most recent count has been completed. Contacts A-B are disconnected during the countdown. Terminals 4-5 and 4-3 control the delay and continuous switching capability. Contacts 9-11 close at count-out, whereas contacts 9-10 stay closed during the count. The clutch coil is linked to terminals 1 and 2. The count setting can only be changed after the clutch is released if it has positive teeth. The count control is used in factory automation to complete repetitive tasks.
