The HN364 hour meter is manufactured by Danaher for the Timers and Controllers series. This electromechanical device records cumulative run time whenever its power supply is energized, providing a straightforward reference for preventive maintenance planning in industrial automation systems. Its compact circular housing is intended for front-panel installation where operators require a clear numeric display of elapsed operating hours. The meter reading can be compared with lubrication schedules and inspection intervals for pumps, compressors, assembly machines, and other equipment that requires service based on accumulated operating time.
Mechanical integration is straightforward because the meter carries a NEMA 1 enclosure rating suitable for general-purpose indoor panels. Installation requires a circular panel opening of 3.187 inches (80.95 mm), and the bezel aligns with a center-to-center mounting-hole pitch of 1.406 inches (35.71 mm). Four #8-32 screws secure the housing to the cabinet face, and this common fastener size is suitable for standard sheet-metal panel hardware. The surface-mount design keeps the front dial flush with the enclosure while allowing the rear portion of the case to remain inside the control box. This arrangement preserves visibility from the front while limiting interference with nearby panel-mounted controls and internal wiring.
Electrical grounding is provided through a mounting hole, eliminating the need for a separate grounding strap. A set of exactly 4 screws is included with the meter, allowing the housing to be attached using the supplied hardware.
