Electrical operation centers on a nominal supply of 120 V, 60 Hz, which feeds a synchronous, unidirectional drive motor that establishes the cycle timing according to the line frequency. The timer draws only 2.5 VA, allowing several units to share a small control transformer when the transformer has sufficient capacity. Concentric front knobs allow the run and dwell portions to be adjusted, while an internal mechanism limits overlap to 1.5% of the total cycle. Output switching is provided by a single-pole, double-throw SPDT contact arrangement connected to two isolated output circuits.
