The HA40A6 timer from Danaher is a synchronous motor driven reset timer. It is designed for accurate and repeatable timing control in industrial applications. The timer offers a selectable time range from 5 seconds to 60 hours through its adjusted front mounted dial with a micrometer scale that provides a 20 to 1 turn ratio for fine adjustments.
The HA40A6 timer features an outer dial of 4 inches diameter for clear visibility and its cycle progress pointer allows easy monitoring. It includes a locking knob to secure the set time from machine vibrations and it operates on 120 V AC source at 60 Hz, with a voltage tolerance of +10% and -5%. The timer’s motor consumes 2.45 VA at 120V AC and its clutch utilizes 10.5 VA for reliable actuation. Its output rating is 10 A at 120 V AC resistive load along with 5A at 240 V AC. The HA40 timer possess silver made contacts for improved conductivity and durability. It uses three sets of 15A contacts, these contacts can be configured in six different sequences. The unit has an electrical life rated as 250000 cycles at full load and its mechanical switch life reaches up to 5 million cycles. Its repetitive accuracy ranges from 0.05 seconds to 18 minutes while its reset time is 0.5 seconds at maximum setting. The HA40 timer’s power on pull in time averages 28 milliseconds and its power on drop out time averages 17 milliseconds.
