Product Description:

The Danaher’s DG116A3 Timer features a small 1/8 DIN, molded NORYL® housing that is designed with high mechanical strength and good insulation characteristics. This timer provides consistent delay settings with a setting accuracy of ±10% of the maximum selected range, thus minimizing timing drift possibility.

This timer offers 16 user-programmable time periods, which range from a minimum of 3.5 seconds to a maximum of 30 hours, allowing the user to set diverse timing durations. This timer features a pilot light indication display that remains lit during the duration of the timing cycle, which gives an immediate visual signal of the operation in progress. It has dual input standards, running either at 120 VAC ±15% with 50/60 Hz frequency or at 120 VDC ±15%, to ensure compatibility with standard power supplies. To achieve greater continuity of operations, the DG116A3 timer is engineered to survive up to ≤ 20 milliseconds of line voltage loss without resetting the timer. When power is restored, this timer responds within 30 milliseconds or less, enabling process restarts with minimal delay. This timer’s reset time of 50 milliseconds also facilitates quick reactivation in high-rate control loops.

The integrated relay output of this timer is rated for a steady-state load of 10 A at 120 VAC, which is ideal for switching moderate power circuits without an external contactor. It is compliant with vibration standards of 2.5G over a 10–100 Hz frequency range on three axes to give high performance in applications with mechanical disturbances. The DG116A3 timer is designed for longevity, providing a mechanical life of more than 20 million cycles. The electrical reliability of this timer is supported by a transient immunity rating of 50 microseconds at 600 volts peak, which shields it from short-duration voltage spikes.
