The CG907A3 is an industrial timing relay produced by Danaher within the Timers and Controllers series. Designed for panel builders and original equipment manufacturers, the unit fits an 8-pin octal socket and locks onto a plug-in surface-mount base, allowing it to be removed without disconnecting the attached wiring. It draws only 0.8 VA while idle and 2.5 VA during timing from a 120 VAC supply, which limits the load placed on the control circuit. Its 50/60 Hz input range supports operation with common power frequencies. When control power is lost, the timing function resets automatically so a new timing cycle can begin after power returns.
The relay’s output stage provides two form-C contacts in a DPDT arrangement. Each contact path carries up to 10 A at 120 VAC with a resistive AC load or 10 A at 28 VDC with a low-voltage DC load. The device operates in on-delay mode, so the output contacts change state only after the internally generated time interval has elapsed. This operating sequence supports delayed motor starts, conveyor staging, and other control processes that require one circuit to activate after another. Following a power interruption, the contacts return to their normal state within 50 ms, providing predictable recovery in control sequences.
