Product Description:
The programmable controller CA410-10000 is developed by Danaher for panel mounting in indoor industrial environment and its base unit offers NEMA 1 environmental protection. It supports 10 programmable outputs labeled LS1 through LS10 and each output can be programmed with an ON and OFF point.
The CA410-10000 controller uses an integrated 3-digit LED display and it offers parameters setting via its front panel buttons. Its control buttons include HUNDREDS, TENS, UNITS, LS SELECT and STORE. All its settings are stored in a non-volatile memory and it does not require external programming devices. The status LEDs located on the right side of front panel shows output activity for LS1 to LS16 and its output control is set from 0 - 999 range to provide 1000 discrete steps per cycle. The CA410 controller makes the output signals accessible through a 25-pin male D-sub connector and its outputs are solid-state in nature with a rated current of 0.25 A per channel at 115 VAC. It operates on 115 VAC of input voltage with a 60 Hz frequency and consumes 12 VA of power. This controller supports two main operation modes, it runs in time-based mode using its internal timer and in position-based mode using external encoder inputs. Its supported sensors include absolute encoders with REF and SHIELD terminals. The CA410 controller possess a 1/4 A of removable fuse for protection.
The CA410-10000 controller is presented with a terminal block TB1 that provides connections for REF, S1–S4 and return lines. Its separate 3-position terminal block provides power and ground signal connections, labeled as L1, L2 and GND. The provided enclosure offers dust/oil protection and the unit weighs 2.7 pounds. This CA410 controller does not feature network communication ports and it includes front indicators for position, tachometer and offset settings.
Frequently Asked Questions about CA410-10000:
Q: What is the role of the non-volatile memory in the CA410-10000 controller?
