It is a single-shot relay intended to insert precise delays into industrial sequences, allowing conveyors, heaters, or clutches to start or stop after a selected interval. The product houses its electromechanical and solid-state circuitry in a Lexan enclosure that withstands daily plant handling. Its surface-mount baseplate supports secure installation without requiring changes to the upstream controller wiring.
It is powered by a 120 VAC control circuit and consumes only 1.5 W, so it imposes minimal load on transformer capacity. The internal oscillator is synchronized with the plant power supply at 50/60 Hz, preventing frequency drift between regions. Output contacts are rated for a resistive load of 10 A at 240 VAC, while a separate solid-state path supplies 0.5 A at 125 VDC for logic interlocks. A fractional-horsepower rating of 1/4 HP indicates the largest induction motor that can be started across the contacts without auxiliary starters.
