Product Description:
The BR19A610 is a surface-mount industrial timer produced by Danaher within the Timers and Controllers series. It provides adjustable delay functions that allow automated systems to synchronize motor starts, heater sequencing, or conveyor indexing with predictable accuracy. By controlling two independent Form C relays, the module fits cabinet layouts that need discrete on-off logic without a dedicated PLC. Its compact configuration also supports installation in control panels where space is limited and relay-based timing is preferred.
The unit operates from a single-phase supply of 120 VAC and supports line frequencies of 50/60 Hz, so it can be wired directly to compatible mains supplies. Its output relays can switch up to 10 A (1/4 HP) at 120/240 VAC, allowing direct control of contactors, small motors, or solenoid valves. For direct-current loads, the switching capacity reaches 0.5 A at 125 VDC, helping prevent arc damage in smaller DC circuits. The timing circuitry provides repeatability of ±0.75% of full scale, so subsequent cycles remain closely aligned with the selected knob setting. A dropout delay of 4 ms and a power-on response of 30 ms minimize relay chatter during voltage dips, helping downstream equipment remain stable. These response times also allow the timer to react quickly when supply power changes during normal machine operation.
The two Form C outputs are configured as SPDT relays and connect through nine screw terminals for straightforward panel wiring. Timing can be set from a minimum of 54 seconds to a maximum of 30 minutes, covering conveyor purge, pump delay, and lamp warm-up intervals without external timing circuitry. After a cycle finishes, the internal capacitor network clears in 200 ms, enabling rapid retriggering when machine logic requires a quick restart. For low-energy direct-current applications, the second contact channel supports 0.25 A at 240 VDC, providing isolation for sensor power or alarm lines. Surface-mounting holes are molded into the case to simplify attachment inside a control enclosure. The timer operates from -10 °C to +60 °C, allowing use in enclosures without active temperature control.
