Product Description:

The Danaher BR17A610 is a safe time-delay control device that is employed in the majority of general-purpose applications.

This timer operates on 120 VAC with a fixed time range of up to 5 minutes, and is ideal when the delay time to be implemented is short, as in the case of performing sequences, motor start delays, or lighting. The model is surface-mounted and features a rugged, compact construction. Its overall width is 3 3/4 inches (95.3 mm), the height of the enclosure is 3 9/32 inches (84.1 mm), and the body depth is 2 5/8 inches (66.7 mm). This totals the total depth with terminal clearance to up to 4 1/4 inches (108 mm), enabling it to be used in shallow housings or control panels without difficulty. Mounting slot spacing is 1 49/64 inches (44.8 mm) center-to-center, and the length of a slot is 1/4 inch(6.4 mm), and the thickness of the flange is 3/16 inch (4.8 mm) to secure, flush mounting.

The unit also has a 9-point screw-type terminal block where wiring can be done easily, and the electrical connection is assured. UL-listed Lexan, a self-extinguishing thermoplastic characterized by increased strength and flame resistance, is used in the enclosure. It has a general-purpose configuration, although with a NEMA 1-rated enclosure as an option to give additional protection in more arduous applications. The BR17A610 offers solid timing and electric set, i.e., electrically removes and restores the reset position, so it is known to be used in a system where accuracy and precision repeatability are important. It can be purchased at Wake Industrial with a one-year warranty.
