Product Description:

The 81E2A602 is an off-delay control timer, designed by Danaher for industrial use. It operates on a 120 VAC nominal supply and supports a frequency input of 50/60 Hz. This timer activates the off-delay function when the control signal is removed and it provides an adjustable timing range between 0.2 to 2.0 seconds.

The 81E2A602 control timer initiates the delay when the external control switch is opened and it resets when the control signal is reapplied or by cycling the power supply. It consumes a very low power between 2 to 3 VA at 120 V and it is equipped with double-pole double-throw (DPDT) output contacts. Each pole offers a standard SPDT contact that provides NO and NC options. The timer’s contact ratings support 10 A at 120 V AC resistive load and it can handle approx. 1/3 HP at 120 V AC, along with 1/2 HP at 240 V AC for motor loads. The 81E control timer possess mechanical life of about 10 million operations and its electrical life sustains hundreds of thousands of operations at rated loads. The unit is designed as a plug-in module with an 11-pin octal base and its standard compatible base socket is MSO-0011, for easy panel integration.

The 81E2A602 control timer comes physically in a compact dimension of 2 inches per side and it weighs 0.25 pounds. Its vibration resistance is moderate for industrial settings and it requires installation in a protective enclosure from environmental conditions. This 81E control timer is ideal for short-duration holds and its typical applications include anti-arcing, sequencing and safety interlocks. Its operating temperature range is from -18 to +60 °C and tolerates up to 95 % of relative humidity in non-condensing environments.
