The Danaher's 7601A610 repeat cycle cam timer is designed for use in time-based control applications. A synchronous motor powers a rotational cam mechanism in the timer, which regulates electrical circuits on a predetermined cycle. System applications that demand consistent, timed operations will benefit from the 60-second cycle and 120VAC 60Hz power input.
The 7601A610 repeat cycle cam timer contains a rotary dial with numerical time indications as well as a gear and cam mechanism that controls changeover. Two black wires connect the synchronous motor and the drive mechanism. The timer has four screw connections that are visible and wired within. The output ratings are 10 amps resistive at 120 VAC and 5 amps resistive at 240 VAC. The timer can be mounted to panels or brackets using L-shaped metal brackets with screw holes. Screw terminals are used to make electrical connections. The operating temperature ranges from 32°F to 122°F, and the timer is rated for non-condensing relative humidity from 0% to 90%. The temperature range for storage is 0°F to 186°F. Both the UL (under E-61735) and the CSA (under LR-26861) have approved this timer. Plastic or phenolic insulators are used as needed, while metal comprises the majority of the components.
