This counter accepts an input supply of 115 VAC and draws only 6 W, so its heat load is minimal inside crowded enclosures. With a maximum counting speed of 1000 cpm, on or off pulses as short as 30 ms are registered without loss, matching the response requirements of most relay or sensor contacts. Incoming power is carried on stranded #22 AWG leads, a gauge that balances flexibility with adequate current capacity for the low-power coil. Internally, the bobbin is molded from nylon to insulate the windings, while the wheel-and-pinion set uses plastic to keep inertia low and extend gear life. A zinc-based Zamak frame and cover provide a rigid housing that resists panel vibration and shields the internal components against incidental impact.

The six-digit display uses wheels that present numerals measuring 0.188 in × 0.156 in, providing clear visibility at arm’s length. Those wheels advance through a train of gears supported by the Zamak frame, and the full assembly weighs only 1 lb 8 oz, so it can be added to light-gauge control doors without extra reinforcement. Factory-attached leads extend 7.5 in from the rear to reach terminal blocks, and the ±10 V supply tolerance accommodates typical mains variation. A keyed cylinder provides the lock-and-key reset, preventing accidental zeroing. The six-figure capacity enables totals up to 999,999 before rollover.
