Product Description:

The 0195316-051 Counter from Danaher has smooth, low resistance resetting with highly visible numerical displays. Its robust stainless steel shafts support dual measuring wheels. This module's clear and high contrast figures makes the tracking measurements effortless even from a distance.

The 0195316-051 counter housing and its worm gear's base is built from Zamak, a durable zinc based alloy and its foundation plate is crafted from solid steel. It records lengths in metric units when it is fitted with a wheel that measures one third of a meter per revolution. Its readout has six digit positions which allows measurements to be displayed up to hundreds of thousands of units without resetting. In this module, the motion from the measuring wheel is transmitted through an internal gear system. All digits are displayed in a white color against a deep black background. When stationary, it is able to withstand a holding torque of up to 1.5 ounce inches. It is made to be fixed on a base surface that makes it stable during operation. It is built from robust die metal parts paired with steel pieces with a complete weight of approximately three pounds.

This 0195316-051 counter is able to run reliably at speeds of up to 1500 revs/minute or 5000 cycles per minute. It comes with hand operated turning style control to bring the display back to zero. It can operate for a longer term as its materials and design protect it from rusting and dust intrusion. While using the imperial system its wheel rotation corresponds directly to the distance in feet and maintains a simple one to one measurement relationship.

Frequently Asked Questions about 0195316-051:

Q: How does the 0195316-051 Counter ensure accuracy at high operating speeds?

A: Its geared drive maintains consistent motion transfer from the wheel, preventing slippage. Precision gearing keeps readings stable even at 1500 rpm.

Q: What is the advantage of dual stainless steel shafts?

A: Dual shafts allow installation of two wheels for better traction or material-specific contact. This improves measurement consistency on slippery or irregular surfaces.

Q: How resistant is it to environmental contamination?

A: The sealed housing and corrosion-resistant materials protect against dust ingress and rust formation. This extends its lifespan in outdoor or industrial conditions.

Q: Can the 0195316-051 Counter be used for both metric and imperial measurements?

A: Yes, it can be configured with different wheel types for either measurement system. Swapping wheels changes the output without altering the internal gearing.

Q: Does the reset knob affect long-term durability?

A: The rotary reset mechanism is mechanically simple, reducing wear points. Its smooth action prevents internal shock loading, preserving gear integrity over time.
