The 0120506-397 is a panel-mount electromechanical counter produced by Danaher for the Timers and Controllers series. Installed in an operator panel or control cabinet, the device converts electrical pulses into a numeric total that can be read directly. This arrangement allows machinery cycles, batch quantities, or service intervals to be tracked without software support in industrial automation environments.
The counter operates from a nominal input of 115 VAC, and its circuitry remains functional across a tolerance window of ±10 V. This operating range helps the counter remain accurate when line voltage fluctuates on the plant floor. Pulse accumulation is possible at speeds up to 1000 cpm, which is the maximum rate at which the wheels can index without misregistration. For sensing sequences with brief transitions, the minimum on-and-off time is 30 ms, so each pulse must persist for at least that long to be recognized. During operation, the assembly draws only 6 W, helping limit heat buildup inside an enclosed panel.
