The STM1800CV variant from Danaher’s Synqnet Boards range offers a stepping speed of 50 to 2000 steps per second, providing rapid and precise motor control for demanding industrial tasks. It delivers a step angle of 1.8 per step and ensures exact incremental movement for detailed positioning. A built-in oscillator provides triggering signals for motor stepping which further simplifies timing control and enhances synchronization across operations.
A speed adjustment controlled via an integrated potentiometer grants users fine control over operational dynamics, resulting in tailored performance for various applications. The module requires a 10 Amp DC power supply (T6382) along with a doc bridge that secures consistent energy delivery during peak loads. Appropriate dropping resistors must be used as external components to provide safe voltage regulation in sensitive circuits. The oscillator transistor utilizes a unijunction transistor (2N1671B from General Electric), guaranteeing reliable pulse generation for accurate motor timing. Four Delco germanium transistors (BM144640a) power this board model, delivering stable performance under variable loads. Its bidirectional operation enables stepping control for M series motors to support versatile motor direction management.
Integrated overcurrent protection automatically shuts down under fault conditions and protects both the board and connected devices from damage. The operating temperature of STM1800CV module ranges from -20C to 70C which maintains consistent functionality in diverse environmental conditions.
