Product Description:
The Danaher’s 56PC-8908-NR Synqnet Board is a power distribution and interfacing module which is designed for industrial standard Synqnet motion control systems. This board is convenient for organized control panels where signal interfaces, high-current lines, and modular motion systems need to be integrated. This board’s rugged build and small size permit reliable operation in tough environments.
This board is compact and lightweight, as it is just 200 grams, which makes it suitable for easy use in space-restricted enclosures. The 56PC-8908-NR board supports a power interfacing/distribution PCB design and is ideal for handling connections between power sources and motion control devices. With two multi-pin backplane connectors, this board supports high-density integration with motion control modules. These connectors are designed for routing inside cabinets and minimize the use of external jumper wires. This board has 10 screw-type heavy-duty power terminals mounted in a single row. These terminals are used to support high-current loads and heavy-gauge industrial wiring. Each of these terminals also offers firm mechanical and electrical contact to minimize voltage drops.
The 56PC-8908-NR Synqnet Board contains labeled voltage lines like U1, 0V, and VCC to provide rapid and efficient power rail identification in system installation and servicing procedures. For long-term interfacing, this board has a 2-pin green BTB terminal block and a white IDC connector, which are used for low-voltage signals or alternate control paths. The IDC connector is compatible with ribbon cable termination, thus enabling this board to connect with external interface boards conveniently. This board has four holes for mounting, which are present at every corner of the PCB to permit the safe mounting onto panel surfaces or DIN rail-mounted frames by using standard type of hardware.
Frequently Asked Questions about 56PC-8908-NR:
Q: Why are screw-type terminals used on the 56PC-8908-NR Synqnet Board?
A: Screw-type terminals offer high-contact reliability for industrial-grade wiring. They ensure firm cable retention, reducing risks of disconnection in vibration-heavy environments.
Q: What advantage do multi-pin backplane connectors provide in 56PC-8908-NR?
A: These connectors allow for dense, organized signal and power routing. They reduce the need for individual wire harnesses, improving installation efficiency.
Q: How does the labeled voltage layout improve safety during servicing?
A: Clearly marked lines like U1~, 0V, and VCC prevent miswiring. This minimizes short-circuit risks and helps technicians identify voltage rails quickly.
Q: Why is the IDC connector used in the 56PC-8908-NR Synqnet Board?
A: The IDC connector supports flat ribbon cable connections. It simplifies parallel signal routing to other modules in automation setups.
Q: What is the role of the BTB terminal block in this board?
A: The 2-pin BTB terminal enables auxiliary low-voltage interfacing. It provides a quick-connect option for sensors or expansion points.
