Product Description:

The X1100 Synchronous Motor by Danaher runs at 120 volts and 60 Hz frequency. It is designed for a single-phase electrical system used in industrial automation. The speed of the motor is constant at 72 RPM. It is a torque of 777 N-cm. Specifications of the motor are suitable for equipment requiring constant torque and speed.

The electrical connection of the X1100 synchronous motor is done on the basis of the RC wiring diagram. Phase shifting components include a resistor and a capacitor. It has a resistance of 100 ohms and a power of 160 watts. The motor is rated 17.5 µF with a voltage rating of 330 VAC. The motor's frame size is NEMA 66. This is designed for a continuous duty cycle application. Further, a face mount configuration makes mounting easier, and the insulation class is rated as Class B. The Diameter of the shaft is 0.625 inches, and the shaft length measures 1.875 inches. Double shielded ball bearings are used in the motor, and it weighs 9 lbs as a whole. Because of its weight and size, the motor can easily be integrated into existing systems. The X1100 synchronous motor works with good performance in the temperature range of –40°C to +40°C (–40°F to +104°F). It is safe for use under specified thermal conditions.

The load inertia of X1100 synchronous motor is defined as 26 kg-cm². It draws a current of 3.3 amps while operating. The design provides reliable performance in different industrial environments. Proper grounding procedures must be followed to prevent electric shocks to ensure safe operation of the motor. Use insulated tools and wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including gloves and goggles. Before performing any maintenance, disconnect the power supply to avoid accidental starts.

Frequently Asked Questions about X1100:

Q: Is the X1100 motor compatible with variable frequency drives (VFDs)?

A: No, it operates at a constant speed and is not designed for use with VFDs or speed variation systems.

Q: Can the motor be mounted in a vertical orientation?

A: Yes, but ensure proper load alignment to prevent undue stress on the shaft and bearings.

Q: What certifications does the X1100 motor hold?

A: Certifications may vary by region; contact Danaher or your distributor for compliance documents like CE or UL.

Q: Is there a recommended torque limiter for this motor?

A: While not mandatory, using a torque limiter compatible with 777 N-cm helps protect gear assemblies from overload.

Q: Does the motor emit noise during operation?

A: It runs relatively quietly, but minor humming is typical due to electromagnetic operation at 60 Hz.
