Product Description:

Danaher builds the KT4020-00 model under its NEXTDRIVE Frequency Drives series with a rigid input handling. With a minimum input cable section of 6 mm² or 10 AWG, the cable section is stable enough for the current to flow over copper rated at 75°C. Mid to high power applications are allowed without tripping standard circuit protections with a maximum input current rating of 32 ARMS. The clean and safe connections for the input transmission are possible with the input terminal size of 10 mm² that allows the clamping of solid mechanical methods. With an output peak current of 30 ARMS, the module delivers short bursts of high-power output.

A nominal output current of 20 ARMS supports standard operations under consistent loads without overheating. For tasks requiring more demand over time, it offers a continuous output current of 24 ARMS, ensuring longer sustained loads. Designed for motors rated at 10 kW on a 3x400V line, the unit handles sizable industrial motors used in high-capacity systems. The output frequency range of 0 to 4000 Hz gives this variant wide compatibility. The device allows 150% current overload for 1 minute every 10 minutes. It also tolerates 120% continuous overload without a time limit, enhancing performance for extended strain.

The short-circuit protection supports circuits that deliver up to 5000 ARMS symmetrical current at 480 V, keeping the drive safe from major faults. It also includes a 15 Ω/1200 W braking resistor with 750 W dissipation. With a compact dimension of 223 mm x 557 mm x 265 mm, the unit allows stable vertical mounting in standard cabinets. Using 4 x M6 screws across 199 mm x 537 mm mounting points, the KT4020-00 adjusts safely into industrial enclosures. The unit weighs 29 kg and one verified update states the thermal protection trip point is calibrated at 105°C, helping avoid internal damage during ventilation failures.
