Product Description:
The SC4415-01000 NEXTDRIVE Frequency Drive offers a versatile solution for industrial automation, functioning within an input voltage range from 3 x 200 V up to 3 x 480 V, which provides auto-ranging capabilities without requiring a separate line transformer. This facilitates easier installation and saves space. Further enhancing its adaptability, the drive has an output frequency that can range from 0 Hz to 4000 Hz, therefore it is suitable for various motor control applications, ensuring smooth and precise operation. With its ability of continuous current overload at 120% without any time limitation, the system sustains operation smoothly even under demanding conditions, which is significant for applications experiencing fluctuating loads.
Supporting peak current overloads of 150% for periods of 1 minute in every 10 minutes, the SC4415-01000 manages potentially huge current spikes without shutting down. The output voltage adapts from 0 up to the input voltage, with the maximum being noted at 3 x 460 V, providing consistent power delivery through various operational modes. It comes equipped with short circuit protection, suitable for circuits delivering up to 5000 ARMS symmetric current at a maximum voltage of 480 V, thus securing both the drive and connected equipment through power surge events; this is extremely important for maintaining safety and uptime through unpredictable industrial settings.
Available in models ranging from KT4005 (2.5 kW at 3 x 400 V) to KT4120 (60 kW at 3 x 400 V), it provides diverse power ratings for different operational tasks. The input current rating varies through models, achieving up to 32 ARMS for less powered designs, but reaching 160 ARMS on more powerful models. Dynamic braking resistor ratings also change related to the model; for example, the KT4005 uses 22Ω/400W, and the KT4120 has 4Ω/2000W, making adaptation easier regarding braking requirements for several applications.
