Product Description:
SC4205-01000 is a frequency drive that helps control motor speed, adjust torque or adjust horsepower. It accepts different input voltage levels, ranging from 3 x 200 V to 3 x 480 V auto-ranging, eliminating the need for a line transformer. This drive also includes RS232/RS422 communication ports, providing easy direct programming as well as drive control. Its flexibility allows it to be used without any issues in various typical industrial applications. The frequency drive also is delivered with short circuit protection for circuits delivering up to 5000 ARMS at a maximum of 480 V, allowing through additional operation safety.
The NEXTDRIVE Frequency Drives series comes with additional features such as continuous current overload of 120% without time limitation, which provides the power a motor needs. As well, it allows for 150% max current overload for 1 minute every 10 minutes. The communication interface uses RS232/RS422 serial communication through direct programming and drive monitoring. Control options also include an integrated KEYPAD PC560 that comes with the choice to be mounted on the front panel or as a remote control unit.
When installing SC4205-01000, there are multiple mounting methods- one can use the standalone IP20 enclosure, or a 19"" rack called KL4000 version. For input cabling, low power models require a minimum cable cross section of 6 mm² (or 10 AWG); if you want it to be bigger, larger models could require 25 mm² or 50 mm² conductors, which should use copper conductors that are rated for 75°C. Regarding safety, UL certification is under process to ensure proper implementation throughout usage with various different components. The output voltage can go 0 to maximum 3 x 460 V (VRMS) and offers a frequency from 0 to 4000 Hz.
