The KT4030-01 is a variable-frequency drive produced by Danaher for the NEXTDRIVE Frequency Drives series. It synthesizes adjustable three-phase waveforms so PLCs can control induction motor speed and torque precisely. Intended for continuous-duty machines such as conveyors, mixers, and pumps, the unit supports motors in the 15 kW class. Its compact design allows mechanical output to be adjusted to changing process requirements in industrial automation lines.
The inverter delivers a nominal output of 30 A RMS while sustaining up to 36 A RMS continuously under higher thermal loads. Output frequency can be programmed from zero to 4000 Hz, and the output voltage can rise to 3 × 460 V, providing broad compatibility with standard 400 V class motors. During rapid acceleration or transient load peaks, the current limit extends to 45 A RMS. The supply side requires three input phases and draws a maximum current of 32 A RMS. Conductors must have a cross-sectional area of at least 6 mm², although the terminals accept lugs for conductors up to 10 mm². Internal power dissipation reaches 900 W under full load, so panel ventilation must accommodate the generated heat while the drive supplies its typical motor power rating of 15 kW.
