Product Description:
The R25-FPSRN-1F0700 is a synchronous resolver produced by Danaher as part of the Dynapar Resolvers series. It supplies absolute shaft-angle feedback by generating quadrature voltages that servo drives and CNC position loops can demodulate for commutation, speed regulation, or indexing. The low-profile rotor-stator design fits inside motor housings or behind gear reducers, allowing machine builders to obtain electrical position data without adding significant reflected inertia to the axis.
For continuous operation, the resolver can withstand winding temperatures up to +125 °C. The excitation windings accept a carrier signal at 5,000 Hz, and the device is rated for a reference amplitude of 2.0 Vrms while drawing no more than 10 mA from the drive’s oscillator. The resolver produces one electrical cycle per mechanical revolution and has two mechanical poles, simplifying signal decoding in standard resolver-to-digital converters. Its transformation ratio is held to 1.000, so the output amplitude closely tracks the input signal. The reference phase shift is -8°, which allows precise compensation within the drive electronics. The IP65 protection rating provides resistance to dust and directed water jets, allowing installation on exposed servo motor end bells or packaging machinery where washdown cycles occur.
The mechanical system tolerates an axial shaft load of 40 lb and a radial shaft load of 60 lb without deforming the bearing races. The resolver withstands shocks up to 200 g and vibrations up to 40 g, helping it remain electrically stable on stamping presses or gantry heads. Bearing life is rated at 2 × 10^8 revolutions, and the rotor contributes only 0.0040 oz-in-s² of inertia, preserving acceleration capability in high-cycle pick-and-place axes. Dimensional runout is limited by 0.005 in of end play under a 5 lb preload and 0.0015 in of radial play under a 1 lb side load. These controlled clearances keep air-gap modulation low during extended operating cycles without placing unnecessary mechanical resistance on the rotating assembly.
