Product Description:
The R25-FBSRN-1F0700 is a rotary feedback transducer manufactured by Danaher and supplied under the Dynapar Resolvers series. It employs a brushless transformer structure in which the primary winding is located on the rotor to generate position-dependent sine and cosine signals. By tracking the phase relationship of these signals, servo drives obtain absolute shaft angle information required for closed-loop motor control in packaging, pick-and-place, and indexing equipment.
Electrical excitation for the resolver is nominally 2.0 Vrms at 5000 Hz, and the primary circuit draws only 10 mA, keeping drive-side power dissipation low. Within this excitation range, the resolver delivers a transformation ratio of 1.000 V/V, so the amplitude of each secondary output faithfully mirrors the reference voltage. The angular difference between the reference and output is -8°, which the controller compensates for with a software offset. With an electrical speed of 1 and two poles, the transducer produces one electrical cycle per mechanical revolution, simplifying interpolation algorithms. Radial play is limited to 0.0015 in at a 1 lb load, and end play is restricted to 0.005 in under a 5 lb load, preserving air-gap geometry for consistent signal quality.
Long-term mechanical integrity is supported by a bearing life of 2 × 10^8 revolutions and an inertia of only 0.0040 oz-in-s², which minimizes startup torque. The unit withstands demanding operating conditions with an IP65 seal, a shock tolerance of 200 g, and vibration endurance of 40 g across the stated frequency range. Continuous operation is rated up to +125 °C, allowing installation near motors or gearboxes that run hot. The resolver supports axial and radial shaft loads of 40 lb and 60 lb, respectively, while maintaining alignment without auxiliary supports. The transformation ratio and air gap remain constant under these loads, preserving a phase-stable signal.
